New Year, New Goals

So I officially gave up on that 30 days thing because I have been so busy with my new job and honestly just got a little bored with it. So much for that.
However its a new year, and with a new year comes new goals.

First, I really want to read The Book of Mormon again. I feel like the last time I read it, I did so only to say that I had, and didn't really understand what I was reading. So my first goal this year is to STUDY The Book of Mormon and not just to read it. Also AJ told me to read Jesus the Christ because it will quote "change your life" so if anyone else would like to read it with me later on this year and bounce thoughts with me I would love that!

Second, I am going to get better at posting blogs, updating scrapbooks, and taking photo's of important memories. I am realizing that AJ and I actually really suck at this. I was really good at it in high school. I had a million photos, and now we almost never take any. So before we have kids in the mix I need to get better about taking photos of life's important memories, and sharing said experiences with family and friends.

Those are my big goals for the year. I have several others but feel that I can probably keep up with those on my own and really wanted everyone to know about these two so that you can all call me out on not doing it.

That being said there is one or two things I would like to share with you at the moment.
This world that we live in is beautiful. I have had the opportunity lately to work up in Park City and to drive through Provo Canyon everyday and I have been absolutely struck by God's creations. Nature is a beautiful thing and to see it all dusted in snow with the sun shining magnificently over everything was a very humbling thing for me to see. I hate snow and to have this sight hit me so hard the other day was a great experience for me. To be able to love something that God made possible, to wonder and awe over something that I never thought I would ever love, was something I hope I never forget.
